Salt Studios has been providing quality in-house live recording services at The Hi-Fi’s Melbourne venue since early 2008. In this time we have recorded and mixed over 200 live performances. A selection of these recordings feature on “The Hi-Fi Live”, a dedicated promotional live music stream that promotes live performances from the Hi- Fi’s stage – visit www.thehifilive.com.au for more details. We now also provide the same quality location recording service at the Hi-Fi’s Brisbane venue.
All recordings are executed by experienced recording engineers using a dedicated Pro Tools HD3 system via the venue’s Digidesign D-Show Console. Extra room and audience microphones are set up to record and capture the atmosphere and energy of the performance. There are a range of options and pricing packages available to artists and record labels recorded by Salt Studios at the Hi-Fi.
